Our Procurement Strategy for 2018-2021 sets out our procurement objectives and an action plan. It aims to ensure that the wider requirements of the public procurement reform agenda are adhered to. We have developed our strategy in line with local and national priorities to support our corporate aims and objectives.

We are keen to receive comments, observations or suggestions from external parties about the content of the Strategy.

  • Digital Tourism Leader's Academy

    HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to work with HIE to develop and deliver the Digital Tourism Leader's Academy. The academy will seek to increase productivity and accelerate international growth by supporting ambitious tourism businesses looking to transform their operations with the use of digital.

    The deadline for submission of tenders was 12 noon on 4th October 2018.  Further information can be found on Public Contracts Scotland.

  • Leadership Programme

    The purpose of this Framework is to stimulate and develop ambitious leadership, which sits at the heart of business growth. It aims to deliver a step change in the leadership capability and capacity of 300-400 individuals from 200-300 unique private and third sector businesses across the Highlands and Islands region. Whilst some are large businesses, the majority are SMEs with many employing less than 50 employees or micro SMEs with less than 10 employees.

    The requirements is split into 2 Lots, each procured under separate Contract Notices.

  • Design Team Services for Phase 2 European Marine Science Park

    HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced Lead Consultant to form and lead a design team to develop the next phase of the European Marine Science Park (EMSP). They should be capable of providing, as a minimum, Architectural services, Building Services Engineering services, Civil & Structural Engineering services, Communication & IT consultancy services and Landscape consultancy services.

  • Prior Information Notice (PIN) - Adventure Tourism Accelerator

    As part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal, the Northern Innovation Hub (NIH) is led by HIE. The NIH has been developed as a series of tightly-focused initiatives to strengthen opportunities for young people, to accelerate the growth of ambitious enterprises and enhance competitiveness in the Highland Council area. The NIH is designed to benefit small and emerging businesses and social enterprises. A key project within the NIH that is the subject of this Prior Information Notice is the Adventure Tourism Accelerator project which will help bring together adventure tourism entrepreneurs to increase their business capability and facilitate collaboration.  Please note this Notice is not a Call for Competition.
